Say This, Not That: Customer Conversations

SayThisNotThat_092716-1.pngAlways strive to get the customer to talk, because that’s where you will learn the most and learn how to respond the best. A good way of engaging with customers that keeps the conversation going is by making sure that you ask questions. Just remember—you’re not here to shine your light of knowledge on him/her, but instead to teach him/her how to go through the issues they are encountering in the easiest way possible.

Listening to feedback from your customers can be incredibly helpful. Each customer interaction or conversation requires it's own unique approach; however, customers appreciate being asked their thoughts about a product or service. They want to feel what they say or think matters and making them a part of your conversations does just that.
